About Us 

Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for women, Coimbatore was established as an aided college by the great patriot and educationist Padma Bhushan Dr.T.S.Avinashilingam under the auspices of the Avinashilingam Education Trust in1957 with 45 women students.

School Of Physical Science & Computational Science

This interdisciplinary school focuses on the study and application of physical principles, mathematical modeling, and computational methods to understand and solve complex scientific problems.

School of Bioscience

The School anchors on a fundamental branch of knowledge and its application provides the students to gain expertise in a wide spectrum of areas such as Biochemistry,Biotechnology and Bioinformatics.

School of Arts and Science

It practices collaborative, interdisciplinary learning, and helps students to acquire the ability to analyse as well as synthesise ideas and information so they can form cogent arguments and creatively express themselves as they progress in academic life.

School of Commerce and Management

The School of Commerce and Management offers Commerce,Business Administration and Tourism Management. It promote faculty and doctoral research, professional training, and outreach activities in various sectors.

School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences

At School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences, Physician Assistant specialists are formally trained to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive health care services in virtually all medical specialties, as delegated by a physician.
