Sri Shanmugha Educational Institutions were established in 2011, with the belief that everyone should have accessibility and affordability to quality education. The Group of Educational Institutions are driven by a sublime aim of providing education in various fields such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing and other Medical Sciences, with a marked difference to excel in education, research and innovation.

BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING

The Department of Biomedical Engineering is established in 2020-2021 to cater to the growing demands for biomedical devices and procedures. The program is duly approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University with an intake of 60.

AI & DATA SCIENCE ENGINEERING

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science was established in the academic year of 2020-21 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students to produce competent engineers in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Department of Information Technology was established in 2020 with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Information Technology.

AGRICULTURE ENGINEERING

Considering the importance of conserving natural resources, proper land management and to provide quality education on agriculture to the rural masses, the department of Agriculture Engineering was established in the year 2016 with an intake of 60.

COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING

The Department has been maintaining high standards in imparting quality education in the challenging field of Computer Science.

ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2011 with an intake of 60 and with the vision of developing the department as a Centre of Excellence in Research and Development.

SCIENCE & HUMANITIES

The department Science and Humanities was established during the academic year 2011-12. Department comprises of four branches namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Mechanical engineers are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is physically possible in order to produce safer, cheaper, and more efficient machines and mechanical systems.
